New Saleen

I bought another stang today: 2004 Saleen Stage IV w/9200 miles.

It looks like it already has alot of mods, it's got the tunable CAI, and what #lb injectors are GREEN? OR X-pipe and aftermarket exhaust, I'm not sure what kind. I know the internals are not forged so what is the maximum amount of hp I can push?

Most people say 400-450 for the 2Vs so you dont bend a rod but if it has higher miles and seems like it has already been beat then go towards the lower end

I believe they run a 13.8 stock with about 360hp stock

I wish they had fog lights though... thats the one thing that makes me like roush more although the new saleens with the HIDs are pretty sweet set up

those numbers don't sound too good. I mean for all the extra money u spend getting 100 ponies and only 3/10's of a second. i mean, i'm all about the highend mustangs, but to me, i think there just a tad to pricey.

and um......im not trying to be a prick or anything, but r u sure you didn't get a saleen s281, because i'm pretty sure only the rousch's come in stages. Also, I've been looking for a 2004 saleen stage 4 and can't find any. I'm not god, so i can be failable, but i just think that either ur mistaken, or the person u bought it from is mistaken.

The injectors are 42 lbs/hr I wouldn't do anymore than 450 rwhp

I stand corrected in my previous statement. there are saleen stage IV's. They have the superchargers on them.

its not a stage 4 as far as I know - just the series IV blower - its still a
s-281

saleen doesn't make stages; you're thinking of roush, saleen makes the S-281, S-281SC, and S-281 Extreme.

Thanks guys! I am finallly among the elite s/c'ed community! I paid 32k for it. I know I could have gotten a Cobra but it'a long story and the bottom line was it was this car or nothing. Yea I was wrong it is a S281 w/ series IV blower.

Only has 9200 miles on it, Perfect condtion. Its the nicest car I have ever bought. I wasn't that huge of a Saleen fan ( I was always wanting an 04 Cobra) but then I drove this one and I had to have it. I know I can change the pulley and get a custom to get a little more out of it. Any other suggestions?
