ON3 performance and MM K member?

I've been looking thru the threads for On3, and I've seen several ppl ask if the MM kmember would work with the On3. The only answer that I have found is the UPR is recommended.

I'm just wondering if anyone has even tried it. MM makes two K members and one of them is for a Hellion(not sure my spelling is right) turbo system?

I will eventually call On3, but I'm in the early consideration stages of the turbo decision. I've always loved turbo, but with my GT it just looked like it would be to packed under the hood to do any kind of routine maintenance.

I've drove a modified turbo scirocco and man I like turbo. It's just nice to have that extra pull under your foot!!!!!

Anyway I'm not so much into straight line running except from traffic light to traffic light. I do like hitting my curves and have thought about doing some road racing when I retire in 3 years.

Anyway enough about me. I just would like to know if anyone has even tried it with a MM k member.

Thanks
SS33

Hellion's kit comes with the UPR or the hellion specific MM k-member as an option...so I would think that the on3 should work with the hellion specific MM k-member.

Yea it might but I think the on3 is a forward facing system so I don't think in mounts in the same place as the hellion.

Does anyone have underside pics of Hellion piping, or on3 piping from the front facing? also anyone got pics of the MM k member regular vs Hellion MM K member? I wouldn't mind doing a little Fab work if it was do-able. Just wanna know what I would be getting into. Don't wanna invest in a project that couldn't be completed. I really like the MM k member and I really like the $$$ value of the On3 turbo kit.

I want my CAKE and EAT it too!!!!

I see the pics of the K member by it's self, but not installed. MM has the pics on their sight. I need to see installed so take a look how they look compared to UPR and QA-1. Also like to see Hellion vs On3 piping.

look on hellion's site to see the pipe their are quite a few pics..

the MM k for hellion has a few tabs out of the way they on the regular 1 really...also the upr kmember acutally is made for hellion also(has a tab or 2 removed for pipeing clearence(it can be used with a regular upr kmember though piping may hit a little spot but nothing drasitic at all...

dont think you can use the mm kmember with on3 kit due to the bulkyness of it may interfer with some of the pipeing.. since it wasnt designed for it..

The kit was designed around the UPR k member.

Maybe we can use the on3 tubo system but fab our own piping to fit the MM k member. Has anyone ever made their own piping B4?
