USMCStang, check out the cams at Modular Head Shop, if you are using Trick Flow heads thay have some Bullet TFS specific cams for NA, nitrous, or boost.

The adjustable crank gears are the way to go and a lot less money. They do have to be either welded or pined together, but it's a lot less money.

Have you already purchased your TFS heads?

i also understand that i doesnt sound normal. i was shocked to hear that myself. but if you think about cam duration and lift ect vs CI the more aggressive cams work more normally and come in earlier on a bigger cube motor.. this is because there is more airflow which is higher intake and exhaust velocity per port size. my theory for the results he claimed, is that the trick flow heads are so much better than stock port flow, that the smaller cam is sufficient at filling the cylinders. im no engine builder by any means. and i have no idea why, but im being straight with all of you. he did NOT tell me if stock heads would be better with stage twos. but with trick flow heads and trick flow cams, he said stage ones worked better.. next time i go by the shop ill ask more about it and will definitely talk to him about some printouts and see if he would get on the forums. im sure many of you have read about dez racing in some of the MM&FF mags here and there. ill see what i can do about some proof tho.. i know you want to see it i would too

I wouldn't have been able to advance one cam and retard the other because both chains are on the same crank gear. Get the adjustable cam gears.
Nick you went with the MMR stroker right? the adjustable Crank gears that they sell for that engine are seperate so you can adjust each cam individually. I have a pair sitting in my tool box since my cams were luckily within tollerance. I am saving them for a future head upgrade.
