I know that bud, just testing you out. Most stroker kits for a Chevy 350 are nothing more than a small block 400 crank, other than being bored out and having your bottom end of the block machined for crank clearance. All I've ever known is small block chevys,I'm new to this mustang game.

You won´t lose power if you get the proper tune for it, straight pipes will mess with your air/fuel ratio, you will need to add more fuel to recover the lost low end torque. If you do this you will be just fine. As for the sound well is loud as fuck and it can be annoying for people around you, I had my cats and mufflers cut out to give it a try and it is way way to loud, I´m going with aftermarket mufflers. At idle the car sounds alright but once I´m over 1500 rmp the tone goes to hell...

Any chance you have a sound clip of your car? Curious to hear what the borla's and o/r pipe sound like.

What? How? Your car doesn't adjust fuel trims whatsoever due to anything beyond the upstream HOS's. You can hack off the rest of the exhaust and it wouldn't notice.

Also, everytime I see/hear straight piped cars, this is what I think/hear:

In conclusion-

Borla stingers are by far my favorite sounding mufflers, and I will probably end up going with them eventually. I have had people complain about MY car with a CATTED x pipe and flowmaster mufflers, and not even driving like a dick. Then again, those people are pussies, but nonetheless, a mustang with any kind of aftermarket exhaust is going to be louder than 90% of the cars out on the road. Please for all mustang enthusiasts and your neighbors, do not run straight pipes. #rantover
i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels this way
i feel incredibly retarded for even running on off-road h with slp lm 1's back in my younger days. even that was ri-donk-ulous. best mod for exhaust was chambered mufflers/off-road h/headers.

I had a 3in straight pipe on my turbo sentra....never again, so loud!

Just get a cat-less x-pipe and some nice mufflers.
