Rough idle after throttle body spacer

Just installed the throttle body spacer I bought off am and it idles almost like it has a cam but it runs fine. What could be causing this?

Btw I tried unplugging the battery, I left it unplugged for 5 mins and it still does it.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all of your vacuum lines including the one on the backside of the plenum.

By the way the spacer was a waste of money and time spent putting it on.

Probably a leak between the spacer and the throttle body or plenum. Make sure the gaskets are good and the bolts are snug and of course make sure all the vac lines and whatnot are plugged in, you may have bumped something and pulled it out.

That was going to be my comment, take the spacer off and re-install the TB--then use the spacer as a unique paperweight...

check the EGR pipe. I had the same issue when i installed a UPR spacer. I thought the EGR pipe was tight enough until I started the car and my buddy as like "damn hen did you get cams?" Its a pita t get on tight because its barely long enough for stock, the you raise it 1/2"

sounds like your TB gasket is leaking, sometimes they get pinched during the install, did you use a new gasket? I always put silicone on my oring style gaskets during the install it keeps them from pinching and they slide into place better.

If you use any sort of sealant on the intake (or for that matter at all anywhere on the engine) make certain it is labeled "oxygen sensor safe", those that are not can damage O2 sensors even if used in very small amounts...
