Suspension Question.. Coilovers And Such...
My car has front coilovers and stock rears...so the stance is a bit weird. and it rids like a tank. im not sure on the company or spring rate of the coilovers so i guess it would be like starting from scratch. its basically a DD.me and the wife both drive it thruout the week. Whats the best spring rate/CO to run for the front and how much should i drop the rear? this is what it looks like now.havent tried to adjust the coilovers or anything. struts are starting to seep so i may end up replacing them. thanks guys.

My suggestion for up front would be a pair of these as that is what I have up front and it is wonderful. Car feels great, all the bumps and dips in the road are barely felt and I feel like I have regained the cornering that I lost when I removed my front sway bar.

250# is about where you are gonna want to be for an OEM quality ride. 300# would be about where an average OEM located lowering spring would get you. If your struts are leaking, they need repair/replacement, depending on who makes them.
Do you have any idea what shocks/springs you have out back? Any part numbers or stickers on them? Jazzer

Just cut one coil out of the rear springs. Problem solved for free.

ya no cutting the springs. eff that. i ALMOST think the front are billsteins...only cause they are blue and yellow..but theres no markings. possibly QA1 since its a QA1 k member.
so im lookin at 250s for the front with a new strut and some new shocks for the rear with springs...SHOULD improve the ride quality ya? haha do they make anything less than a 200 or with that just be a "mooshy" ride?

I have a set of 150s laying around, but if I were you I wouldn't go lower than 200.

What is this "cornering" thing you speak of Jazzer? I see in many of your posts you refer to this topic........ I'm not familiar with it. Is this similar to turning onto the return road at the end of the track once the race is over?

Actually 150lb springs are probably bad because they are too light of a spring for a full weight new edge, expect to have them compressed pretty far possibly bottoming out the springs on bumps. These springs would be better suited for the rear, but you might be able to get away with 150lb springs if the front is pretty light and you plan on drag racing only
