i have the cash right now for the black pacesetter LT's and they're shorty x pipe. think i should just get those or am i going to regret not getting the ceramic coated ones?

My firend has the black ones, we sand blasted it and sprayed it with high temp paint, works great

Paint no matter how hot or good, will come off. Ceramic will last a lot longer if its quality, keeps under hood temps down and had a few other bonus's but you wont see those with your car.

If you don't have the cash for ceramic just get the non coated ones and paint with high temp exhaust paint. Won't last forever but neither will The ceramic.

alright thanks, think im just going to go with the black ones then and re paint them. I can just go down to Kragens or Autozone and pick up some of the VHT header paint right?

The headers will rust out either way. The ceramic just makes you think they are not rusting underneath. I would just buy the regular ones

+1 they fit but youll have to spend an extra 10 bucks and re locate the passenger side o2 bung.... totally worth it

i got my pacesetters brand new on sale for 150$ and they fit/sound/perform great

I remember reading a while ago that MAC longubes fit autos fairly well but I would look into that more.

I've heard nothing but good from them. A LOT of F body owners use them so I'd say they're good.
