Pacesetter Longtubes??

Been looking into buying some Lt's for a while now and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with PaceSetter longtubes. They're pretty cheap but was just wondering if it would be worth it to save a little more and get different ones.

yeah, for the price they're a really good deal. Just wondering on the quality and fitment of them...?? Can't decide on the Pacesetters or the Flowtechs.

I thought the quality was good. As far as fit just take your time and its not bad. I have installed 4 sets and they all are tight fits. A lot of people on here say drop the k-member but I have always remove the motor mounts and used a jack with 2x4s to lift up on the engine. Hope this helps

I have the Pacesetter LTs ceramic coated. Fitment was just the same as any other LT i've installed with the stock K and actually a little better with the tubular K. I'm happy with them and can't say anything bad about them. The flange is plenty thick to minimize warpage and the collectors are slip fit which are almost impossible to leak. I also have the Pacesetter X ceramic coated and I'd suggest going with their X due to the slip fit collector.

I may look into them as well. Am Has them for 269. They are 399.95 on pacesetter website. That's for NON coated. Coated was 599

Bulloch- do you know if their o/r h will fit as well?

I've got an x now and think its too raspy

I know a bunch of guys using them in their f-bodies with no problems. I don't see any reason to get more expensive headers.

If only they offered a h pipe. I guess I'll have to go with flow tech.

Go to a muffler shop and have an H pipe made if you must have an H pipe. Not the end of the world, just a speed bump.

Correct, not the end of the world. But I'm in a very very small town. Exhaust shop only does bolt on only 'custom' welding they do is straight pipes.

I've seen they have h pipes on their website but they are for shorty headers. Either way, I've had pacesetter on my z28 and sounded great.
