BTW, you can get a brand new 90mm lightning maf LMAF for $90-110 used they are cheaper. They are the standard when it comes to a good maf for up to 500 rwhp.

What is your point?
Does pressure now prevent a thermal mass meter (aka maf) from working?

I've heard lmaf's can have a hard time over 400hp, thats why I bought an hpx maf for my build.

Now to the suck/blow maf question. Yes either one can be used in either application. Now the slot style (05+, hpx) mafs have proven better overall, BUT the 90mm LMAF is still a great maf even though it is typically used in suck through applications.

3" = 75 mm...
Also, the 90 mm Lightning MAF will support right up to the maximum the PCM can support (1740 kg/h) without re-scaling the transfer function, standard air charge, and a couple other tune settings. 1740 kg/h = 3830 lb/h, running f/i that is enough air for 555 fwHP, 472 rwHP. Click here for more about "calibrated" MAFs...
