Deal with it, it's a mustang. They all do it eventually. I've pulled my hair out trying to find mine. I would kiss someones ass if they could tell me what it was. I have an aircraft electical technicians license and I haven't been able to find the cause of mine. I'm just telling you what I was told... deal with it.

Lol deal with it? That's laziness. Eddy, could be a dead cell in the battery. Try getting a new one and use yours as a core charge.

My car did that and my amps were the culprit. If you have a bad amp it will drain the car quick. I would put a meter on the amps

Fuses wont cause the battery to die. It either has a connection or doesn't. You could check but I think you'll be wasting time. If it was your alternator, it would be draining the battery as you drive, and youd lose all your power.

Only other thing I can think of is something staying on after you shut it off. My dads mach did that, traced it down and the radio was staying on. Until he replaced it, he pulled the fuse everytime he got out of the car. But the fuse wasn't the issue, something inside the unit was keeping the power on

That was a real pain in the ass to find. I had a ford shop manual for my car and it was a nightmare. If I am right then I just saved you countless hours! Good luck and let me know what it is.

You just gave me an idea. I have the stock stereo but right around when this problem started I lost all bass in my stereo. I haven't messed with it in months because I've been working on putting the engine back together, but if this is the problem then I will back up my word and.... kiss your ass

I used to could let my car sit for a month and never had problems with it cranking, now if it sits more then two weeks my brand new battery will be dead. I haven't felt like trying to find my problem yet.

It's probably just the battery. Oem is the best. In many cases. I still have my stock battery from 03 and 104,xxx miles. Although I think its on its way out.

Could be the battery too. Take out the fuse for the stereo setup. Its in the car under the steering wheel. Not sure which exact one. But let it sit overnight and see if it starts right up.

Good luck man

That "its a mustang deal with it" statement has some truth to it, this is a common problem with all fox chassis mustangs especially high mileage sn95s and new edges.

Mine started doing this and I havent found it yet. I removed the aftermarket amp, CD player, all mach 460 amps and speakers.

I swear Mustang electrical problems are next to Jaguars. Ive had a 93 and 95 xj6 and xj12 and theyre a nightmare. at least the mustang is cheap to fix

Walmart everstart battery is the same as a motorcraft battery. Both are made by Johnson Controls and are identical. OEM batteries are more expensive because of the warranty they have with them

If the factory amps still have power going to them then your battery will drain assuming they are bad.

Deal with it is not a good anwser, many times a battery will show good, and have a dead cell. if your alt is running your car properly, and it checks out cross that off the list, and replace your battery. Even brand new batteris go bad. Replace it and your issue will go away.
