Styling Bar!

Okay guys and gals with verts, where is a good place to get a styling bar? And what's better the one with the brake light or without? And how hard is it to hook up the brake light? And one more question, when you hit the brakes when the top is up does it light up the whole inside? pictures would be beneficial

If I were you I wouldn't get the one with the brake light.. Just a simple clean look does it for me

I have installed one with a brake light before. The wiring is pretty straight forward as well as the install. I used a cdc lightbar and it came with great wiring instructions and templates that you tape to the rear interior panels to make sure you drill the holes right.

The light will come on when you hit the brakes unless you install a light bar shut off switch. It is also pretty easy to install. I actually have an extra one if you decide to go with it I will gladly sell it to you for $25 shipped. Just PM me if you want it.

The brake light is tinted, you don't really notice it when the top is down unless you are using it.

It's pretty noticeable to me. I guess maybe its just the pictures and I know it's there. I've never seen one in person.

The install takes a couple hours, Get the one with the brake light or you will be disapointed. Also get the brake light switch so you dont have the brake light going off with the top up.

Id go with the one with the brake light.. when riding with girls in the back seat and it lights up it amuses them. My car was pretty low in the back at one time so it helps drivers see you i guess , who cares honestly but it sounds good... if it cost 200 more for the brake light one then dont get it. But if its <100 more somewhere get it

dude I laughed reading that part about amusing the girls!

But your car is so cool! I think I watched a video of you on youtube, it was a triple black stang with a 5.4 doing a burnout from first to second lol bad ass car, I think ill bight the bullet and go for the one with the brake light

Yea that was me! had to keep it short it was in a park with no much space and cops but cool that some one actually saw it.

You cant go wrong with the brake light though itll make it look official and OEM and not aftermarket, kind of like an SL500 Mercedes Roadster they come with them stock

I ledt the light hooked up all the time. really don't notice it with top up at night. My grandkids get a kick out of it everytime they are with me
