yes my 08 is 5 speed but i have buddies that have them with auto and seems to work great. 390 is a good idea as well but no ford raceing option.

picked up the a set of ford motorsports 410 gears this moring cant wait to have them installed next week

Whaaat? 108 is nothing...that doesnt sound good to me

and yes, driving on the highway over here 100+ mph is not uncommon...

is there a chart with different gears rpms and top speeds?

I don' have an auto but the 108 is top speed in third (not overdrive) with 4.10 gears. I have been told that for autos you have to turn off overdrive before racing, that if you go wide open throttle in O/D at high speed the transmission engages both third and fourth tearing up the transmission. I suppose if there was a way to ease into it without kicking in "passing gear" you might be able to go faster.
