You shouldnt be running/have no need to run drag radials on a dyno.

We dyno 800+ rwhp cars all day long on street tires. Also dyno's eat up drag radials at times so we normally swap on a set of our street tires on the dyno.

A properly straped down car with the correct air pressures in the tires wont have any issues on the dyno (traction related issues I should say)

I just thought it was odd he mentioned tires as the problem. Most people have mechanical or fuel problems.

agreed, I was just throwing the whole slipping thing out there since one of our local dyno shops just got their rollers done & it was fresh on my mind.

My first pulls almost always have a little tire slip

I guess my tuner needs to get his rollers done over cause it takes lots of strap tightening and lots of crap in the trunk. Smoked them good this time but in the end no burnouts.

I think what the tuner was saying is why dyno it any further if I can't even hook making 450's. Wasn't the dyno failing or anything just didn't want to tune at any higher psi until I had good enough tires to handle it.

@dhicks7806: car is boosted now new dyno specs coming Monday. agreed though hooking is my main issue. taking to track for 1st time ever when weather changes. how you like your sti? my buddy used to have one it was sweet.
Sorry I just assumed it wasn't because I saw the 76 turbo on the list, what are you running now? 67-70? I love my STi but I may part with it soon to buy a termi not sure yet though as AWD is blast especially in the snow lol

running the On3 t70 turbo, in the new kit the turbo's say On3 Performance instead of master power like the old kit. not sure if they're the same or any different. a termi would be very sick, great engines to work with.
