What Could Cause This Problem

I have a 01 GT auto and I get about 195 miles out of a full tank. Engine is completely stock with a drop in K&N filter. Car runs smooth, no check engine light, no leaks, no smells or anything. I only drive from work and home and I rarely, if ever, step on it. Mostly highway miles as well. That's not normal gas mileage at all especially the way I drive. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions to help me fix this?

be honest, you probably give it more go than you think. if not i would start simple and do a tune up. run some sea foam threw your motor.

Did all of that still no change. For the last two fill ups I didn't step on it at all because I was testing to see if it was because I was stepping on it, and no change in MPG. Maybe bad o2's? but would bad o2's cause a big decrease in MPG? I'm averaging like 11 MPG city-highway.

o2 sensors can cause bad milage. when you installed your k&n filter did you happen to drive it for 200 miles then clean the maf? most filters are over oiled and dirty up the maf.

Try some injector cleaner, new plugs and wires, constant oil changes, maf cleaner as mentioned above and a new pcv valve. The o2's will pop a code.
