I used dex/merc think it's 3.3qts. Think another good one is synchromesh? Just don't use royal purple.

IIRC the 3650 is only supposed to take 3 qts- they had a TSB on it but I could be mixing up the numbers...OP what year is your car?

I have a t45 so mine was 3.3. Just fill it until it comes out the full
Hole. Then you'll know you have enough. I leave the plug open, and pour fluid into the shifter.

This. But I left the fill hole opened and used a cheap fluid pump from Autozone and used the fill hole. Once it pours out the fill hole, put the plug back in.

I used Pennzoil Syncromesh.

Additives in the RP eat away at the friction lining on the blocker rings. If you have a rebuilt 3650 with the carbon lining on the blocker rings, you are fine to run RP

I did the ol' "Secret Sauce" in mine last time I did it with the Pennzoil Synchromesh, and the Lucas Oil stabilizer. Still shifts great. Probably the only Pennzoil product I'll ever use.

From all the research I did, the most popular results have always been Mobil1 synthetic ATF, Dexron III spec fluid, or syncromesh... When I called tremec multiple times and asked about syncromesh, the general answer I got was that it will eat away at the syncro material over time... so many people use it , so it still makes me wonder if it will in fact cause problems, and if so after how many miles... never could get a straight answer
