I believe so, theirs a random pully in a box with the hose clamps so im assuming thats it. Is a boost a pump a must have? also what about the fuel rails?

im assuming this is a used kit you bought? make sure you have the 1.95" idler, and you need the offset spacer, otherwise the belt will rub

I didn't see the by-pass valve listed or the cold air intake with air filter. Spread out the parts and take some pictures. We might be able to see if anything else is missing.

I've been using that BOV for around 76,000 miles. It will work fine. The pipe with the long rod runs down from the head unit. The rod attaches to the top of the radiator. It has the port for the BOV. That port should face downward. The ribbed hose with the red line attaches to the BOV port on one end and the BOV on the other. It curves upward under the head unit toward the cold air intake. The air filter is on the wrong end of the CAI. The short 90* hose coming off the CAI attaches to the top of the BOV. The other port on the CAI is for the driver's side PCV valve hose. The middle pipe below the CAI has the hose that connects to the IAC. The top of that pipe connect to the throttle body. You have green top 42# injectors and below that the pipes for the MAF.
The head unit attaches to the Y bracket using 4 bolts (two large and two small). It looks like one of the large bolts is missing. The allen head bolt goes through the idler pulley into an offset spacer. The idler pulley is the small pulley. I don't see the offset spacer. I also don't see the 1.25" stud and bolt that mounts the Y bracket to the motor. The stud goes through the middle of an exhisting idler pulley. Did you get the installation manual? In case you didn't here is a diagram of the belt routing and a couple of pictures of installed systems that may help. ![]() ![]() ![]()

No. I'm running a 255 lph SVT Focus fuel pump. No boost a pump.
You have to get the offset spacer from ProCharger. Someone bought one not long ago. I think they said it was $30 but you have to have it or else the belt rubs against itself.

Eagle has had good luck with his stock ProCharger BOV.
Me, on the other hand...the stock ProCharger BOV crapped out and caused surge in the head unit which broke the main seal. I sent the P1SC back to ProCharger and paid extra for them to return a D1SC to me. I replaced the stock ProCharger BOV with a Vortech mini-race valve that has worked well with my D1SC. The Vortech mini-race valve was $100+ cheaper than the ProCharger Big Red. So now my car sounds like a train/airplane whatever you want to call it coming down the road, love it. |
