Ball Joints

I need to install new lower ball joints soon and was wondering what brand you all would recommend. I dont want to spend anymore than $100 for a pair. Thanks for your input!

If you need longer go with the Steeda X2 units. Why do you need to go a longer ball joint to correct your bump steer.

Well i dont NEED longer ones but i looked at those.. a little pricey though. They recommended buying their bump steer kit as well which kinda steers me away.

If you plan on lowering your car you will need the Steeda ball joints and bump steer tie rod ends.

Best bet is buying the Ford ball joints. Go to an Autozone and rent the tool for pressing out and in the ball joints.

By the way most of the time the tie rod end is stuck in so well that you need to use the tie rod splitter tool and it will normally tear up the rubber boot. So you will need the tie rod ends as well.

Well I do plan on lowering my car down the road. Are the X2's gunna effect driving if I don't have it lowered?

I would not run the X2's on a stock height car. And I work for Steeda. There is no advantage other than strength.

Now if you want to lower the car I would be happy to put a nice package together for springs and X2's (Remember I work for Steeda )

Well I do want to lower my car in the future but I also want to get a turbo kit and to my understanding, I need to purchase a new K-Member, A arms, and coilovers. I don't know if you guys sell coilovers but if you do, it'd be great if you could set up a package that i could look over. Thanks for the reply!

Not sure if Moog offers a longer ball joint like Steeda does, though the Steeda X2 ball joints look pretty darn similar to Crown Vic ball joints...

(Maybe steedamatt can chime in lol)
