Ebay prepainted front bumper

Well I have had some bad experiences with the local body shops not doing an acceptable job on their paint jobs. One I had to go back over 4 times just to get all the dimples out of the paint. I broke the bumper support tabs on the left side when I hit a flooded pothole. I saw a couple listing on ebay for a painted front bumper cover that I could just install myself. Can I reuse all the fittings?

yeah, after doing some research I have had mixed reviews but for that price! I mean as long as they use primer, color and clear ill be ok, I just dont want to be repainting a bumper anytime soon!

Yeah exactly. I need the license plate holes fixed and that is cheap It's like $400 for repaint and fill holes that's not bad I don't think

i bought a termi bumper off ebay pre-painted, i paid a little more though because i went with the store with the best feedback. i got it and it had a little dent in it im assuming from shipping. it was painted and cleared, not 100% about primed, but they dont use many coats, its very thin. looks good for the price but after telling the company i bought it from (pershing auto) about the dent and sending pictures they promised a partial refund and never gave it to me or would respond again and it took so long to recieve it i couldnt even open a claim.

I ordered a front bumper from Pershing Auto (off Ebay) as well, I was actually ok with the fit/finish for the price. I will say though that there will be orange peel CC and the paint is not anything of amazement. Surprisingly though, it fit spot on... Hope this helps...

I see you're also YN silver, how did the color match? Besides your not very positive feedback, I was still considering grabbing a painted GT bumper from them (since my stock is hacked up pretty bad)

I ordered a bumper from them for my YN silver '99 GT. The only thing good about it is that the paint was a close match. Their customer service is terrible. Took a month and a half to get my bumper, and when I got it, it looked to be handled while the paint was wet. Smudges and nicks everywhere along with some hardcore overspray and some spots where paint was so thin the plastic was visible. Got another one sent, looked the same. Paint was this anyways. I got screwed. Ended up repainting it with some other parts of my car.

actually i have satin silver, only came on the 02's. so i couldnt just go get one off any other silver one. as far as the fitment goes though i cant complain. its pretty good.

I have a pre painted one from Pershing too - very pleased here!
