Okay.. first, I doubt this is in the right part of the forum but i dont know where to put it :-/ I sometimes check out sites where users upload stats and pics and such of their Mustangs kinda like here at the "Garage" or like on Americanmuscle.com .. well i see people talk about sponsors.. Basically, I want to know about that stuff.. How does it work and what do you have to do? Thanks..

EXPOSE THE HELL OUT OF YOUR CAR. I have been working my A$$ off over the past year and this year I picked up major sponsorship.

i.e. car shows and stuff?? i was talking to one guy about it (import guy) but he told me it wasnt worth it cuz they plastered their name all over your car and its really easy to know when someone is sponsored and much more respectable to do it on your own

yeah i am working my ass off to get sponsership and so far only got partial which just does stuff for me for cheaper. Like i get nitrous for 1.50 a pound instead of 4.25.

Lots of racing at lots of different tracks. The magazine feature didn't hurt either.

I am only required to have one decal on my car. I did everything on my own, but the sponsorship helps with travel expenses, entry fees and free parts.

MM&FF will be this year for the shoot. I get travel expenses, parts, labor, dyno time and discounts for the Bucket.

Dude that is sick! Man I just wish that I could get my car to the level you have it with or with out a sponsor! You have exactly what I want! Stage 2 VT stuff with nitrous! What track times were you running before and with what shot? and what do you want to run?

12.09 N/A was my quickest on old set up and I ran a 11.4 on 6 cylinders with a 125 shot. With new set up, I will be at 11.70-11.80's N/A and 10.ohs to maybe a 9.9x on a 150 shot and mid 9's on a 200 shot.

I am changing ALOT of things with new set up as well as changing from ZEX to the TNT nitrous kit.

That is wicked! Up here at this alltitude only the funny cars and full blown drag cars make it in the 9s! If only I had the money!

Yeah I go through withdraws when I cant drive it daily lol! Its going to be tough in two weeks when I am getting my 4.10s and wont have it here over night lol

Well, all the waiting will be worth it. I will have to get used to driving it again. I also ordered a Skinny Kid Racing aluminum rear wing. The Bucket is gonna look even meaner than before with the new wheels, rear wing and deep sump fuel cell peeking from under the rear bumper.
