New Addition?

Saw an SVT Focus today and now I want one. I am going to keep the Lightning and Mustang and DD the Focus. They are pretty cheap to 3-6k 35+ MPG.. but how quick are they?

i would say do it. they get great gas milage and they are fun little cars.

I used to have one and loved it! Pretty much a Go-Cart on steriods. In the 1/4 the best mine ran was in the low, low 16's. But it REALLY shined in the autocross. I took it to a couple local events and finshed in the top 10 in one of them. I was only 1.5 seconds off from my buddies stock 03' cobra and I was almost 3 seconds faster then another guy in a stock 06' GT.

It was a real corner carver.

could someone post some specs on them idk where to start searching? what years did they run and what are they putting down? and what blue is that?

They were produced 2002-2004. If I remeber right the motor was a 190HP DOHC 2.0L.

They are an interfearance motor so if you are looking at getting one with some high miles on it make sure it has had the timing chain changed or plan on changing it.

Other cons are the clutch master cylinders are bad about going out. Cheap part, somewhat easy to replace. They also go through tires fairly quickly 8k-10k thousand miles in the rear usually. But thats the price you pay to have go-cart type handling.

The color of the blue one above is Sonic Blue.

No, they are front wheel drive. The tires wear because of the suspension setup, the camber to help them corner.

Its nothing that needs corrected. Its just the nature of the suspension.

Well if I get a third car for a DD its going to be an SVT Focus, 1st Gen Audi TT AWD, or an AWD Audi wagon or 3 Series BMW wagon.. has to be under $10K closer to $5k really...

Orrr Ill sell the Lightning and Mustang for a 4x4 SUV Like an Escalade or Yukon/Tahoe and get a C5 corvette... IDK i can never make up my mind or stay content

how could you fix it, change/upgrade suspension? id rather have that then be burning through tires -> if its the DD
