Blower Cost???$$$

There are quite a few newer members on here that have been asking about different mods and blower setups and the cost of them. For those with forms of forced induction Centri, PD, Turbo, Eaton How much did you end up paying after its all said and done for your blower setups? Mine is below

EDIT: label if the parts are new or used so its down to the details.

Brand new V1 S trim complete $2,500 retails for $3014new I found mine on CL $2500 new still in the box and plastic sealed up.
90 mm lighting maf (optl) $79 new
Boost gauge(optional) $44 new
fuel pressure gauge (optional) $48 new
Gauge pod insrt cluster(optl) $79 new
Dyno tune $400+
Spark plugs $18

Total of $3,168

if I would have left out the (optionals) $2,918 total

Brand new P1SC with injectors, fuel pump, chip, and 3 core intercooler $4500.
Spark plugs $25 and fan belt $15.
Install with dynotune $1000. I dropped it off and picked it up running.

With the electric water pump and other mod the car was running a little lean at 6000 rpm. The retune would not have been necessary if I had gotten the MAFia first.

Diablosport MAFia $180.
Retune $400.

Total necessary cost $5,745. Gauges, shifter, full-length subframe connectors, gears and 31 spline axles are not included. But that is all it cost to have a 380 rwhp car.

Wait. I just noticed no one is including installation costs. Parts cost $4,745.

P.S. I have 77,000 miles on this equipment. And, as far as total costs... I don't really know... I'm not done. I realize that there are a whole lot of Vortech fans on this forum. I think its because of the $3,800 non-intercooled tuner kit and the massive amount of used parts available (someone else's failure). My opinion is that if you want a reliable trouble free system, just get an intercooled system upfront whether it is Vortech or ProCharger. Don't try to go cheap and fix it later.

I want to play the game, I have quite a bit of what I need so far... I will edit it as I get more items

Procharger p1sc 2-core intercooler- $1550
inlet pipe,bracket,couplers, spacer, bolts- $300
3.4 pulley- $75
90mm lightning maf- $55
ngk tr6 v-power spark plugs- $29
39lb cobra injectors- $239 (new)
tial 50mm bov- $115

still have to get division x fuel pump, powerpipe/intake pipe, diablo mafia, diablo tuner, and a few other things I can't remember.

Total so far-$2363.. this is pretty exact because it is in progess and i am keeping track anyway.

The install will save me some money because my brother is gonna give it a shot being he is a ford mechanic and the manuel is pretty straight forward I think.. However the tune is gonna cost 250 plus 100 for every additional hour at anderson motorsports in clintion, il.

Hope that helps.

Running a 315 Nitto NT555DR out back, and I ran that time rolling off the start with a 1.9 60ft. With a decent slick on the back, i hope to cut some time off of it.

The reason i didnt include the install cost is bc that can vary so much from person to person and some ppl do thier own install, get a buddy to help, get a buddy to do it, and it varies from shop to shop installs can cost anywhere from $300-$1000 in this area but if you have the time and area to do it yourself then its free it just will cost some weekend time.

Some ppl seem to be stuck in between decisions to get blown(no pun intended), or trade for something newer with a bit more power and some ppl may not realize just how cheap(person depending) or how expensive(person depending) it may be to add power to what they have or trade and make payments for a few years. Just wanted them to see what kind of ballpark range as far as money goes to go FI on these cars. Hopefully more PD cars will tune in and post up some numbers the turbo guys also bc im sure ppl who are considering FI have considered those routes also.

My install cost was $400 for a non-intercooled Vortech kit with boost and wideband guages. Install cost on a Procharger is $500 from the same shop.

I only have a few more things to pick up (just the small stuff). Then I'll be ready to start the install. I would estimate probably around March to have everything together, installed, and tuned.

I put it on hold for a little because I was finishing the motor for my Vette. But since it's running now and all is well, I'm focusing on the Stang now. I'm definitely looking forward to getting everything together. I think I'm more excited for my Mustang than I was for my Vette lol.

Hopefully some TURBO guys list up some prices bc I hear about those cheap base Turbo kits but I heard there are quite a few things you hvae to add and swap out to finish the job. So ive seen ppl here advise others to get them but it would be nice to see a detailed pricelist of everything needed to run one of those turbo kits. I have no intentions on running one but ppl are inquiring about boost set ups so a price list of the different setups to go along with the recommendations would be nice. So far there have been Quite a few centri pricelist and a couple KB so hopefully the turbo guys chime in.
