My exhaust situation, also post your tops ;)

recently picked my car up, came with slp lm1 catback

its loud, drone isnt too bad, but idk the sound just doesnt do it for me ive already had the loud car that sounded okay-good i want a car that sounds great and im not ready to change the midpipe..yet. what if i swapped in magnapack mufflers?

also the exhaust isn't hung correctly

this isnt the best picture but the tip on the right hangs awkwardly farther in and slightly to the right

i was thinking about possibly changing the tips all together, im not really a fan of them?

I would swap the mid pipe to a pro chamber. It will tone it down and improve the tone. Also once done take your car to an exhaust shop and get the tips straitened out.

Lm1 usually sound like "clappy ass" with an o/r x setup. I guess thats up to the individual though. to each is own.

I think SLP LM1 and o/r Prochamber is one of the best exhausts on a 2V. I traded with my dad and now am running O/R X and Magnaflows, which were alittle to quiet for me. Swapped to LM2 mufflers, still not as loud as I wanted. Definitley is alittle better then magnaflows.

So were trading back, Im going back to the LM1 and o/r Prochamber setup. That setup is retarded loud on the 4V, its loud as shit on the 2V too, but I think it sounds better on the 2V then the 4V

It actually sounds Decent IMO in this vid with the pro chamber and lm1 compared vs the o/r x and lm1.

i think you will be very pleased if you swap in the magnapacks. I have had them for a while now and they barelydrone around 2k in 5th but they are loud when you want them to be. they have a nice loud deep tone without being too raspy

How would a magnaflow off road x and magnaflow mufflers sound? I looking for a more quiet set up not one that is super loud and attracts so much attention? Since I I stalled my off road x I hate the way it sounds with the glass packs the PO had installed. It actually was a lot deeper with the catted stock H pipe but with the o/r x is super hallow and raspy I just picked up a set of 2.5" magnaflow mufflers and I'm having a custom cat back made with all new 2.5" piping. Now I just need to get some headers.

The magnaflow really brings out the bass tones, very deep and not too loud. They really droned with my bassani offroad X pipe.

Here's a old vid clip of that set up on start up and idle
