Should I put a new k member in with the new motor?

I bought a motor with 11k on it and will be putting it into my mustang in the next couple of weeks. I have to pull the old k-member out anyway so should I just go ahead and replace it with an after market one? If so which one?

I have heard that some of the k members have rattles associated with them. Does yours? Did you do a-arms as well or just the k member?

95.... what kind of driving will you be doing with your new motor?

twisty-beast possibly *I hope, I hope, I hope*

Jazzer says.... wut?

PS. If you want to keep your springs, you need to install some upper spring perches. I think UPR makes them.

Careful if you are running a vert as a DD... many of the K members are very light but lack structural support for a vert on the street. You will also lose your vert OEM spider brace which is pretty significant.

I elected to stay with the stock brace for now - but had to modify the OEM spider brace to clear my MMR race oilpan. Good thing it's there - I have hit the brace/skid plate numerous times on our crappy roads here.

I plan on doing mostly street driving, but hard. I'm also considering putting a turbo on this summer.

$1,900... but still only 2 point K member brace - no skid plate for oilpan and does not include struts

if you plan on a turbo you need to go with a k member designed to work around the turbo kit you want.
