01 GT factory weight?

Why does my door jam sticker say that my car weights 4490 lbs? I thought these things weighed around 3,500 lbs.

3317lbs!!! I think the weight on the door is the combined total weing on the inside and the trunk combined that you shouldnt exceed. But it looks like the 2001 is lighter than the 02-04 gt for some reason it looks like the 01 doesnt have a premium pkg. the 01s weight says 3237lbs

My 01 has all the premium stuff in it, i think. It had, HAD a 6 disk changer and mach 460, it still has all the mach 460 stuff in the back mounted on the roof of the trunk... though I don't know if it still works cuz I removed the aftermarket subs taht the previous owner had installed, if that makes sense. It also has leather (torn up) and a 15,000,000 way power seat and power everything.

Look up at what Rockwell wrote. He has an 03. 3,317lbs sounds about right. Mine weighed 3,375lbs when it was N/A with the following weight additions: frame connectors, driveshaft safety loop, Mach 1 chin spoiler, 13" cobra front brakes.
