[Mineral Gray GT]

Many of you have have seen my build thread over in the project section.(thanks Casper for getting that sorted out) I'm starting the tear down of the Mark VIII engine today and will post pics over in my other thread. But I'm running into a dilemma on which heads to use and i want your opinions. If I run the Mark VIII heads with 98 cobra intake and possibly some stage 2 cams, what kind of numbers will i see? My other option is the recession buster build featured over on MHS using the 2v heads and a stage 3 cam on the 4v block with notched pistons that has been claimed to produce an AVERAGE 300rwhp and peak horsepower of 330-340 rwhp. How will the cammed "B" headed 4v compare and will it SOUND like a cobra?

with cams i can see 315-325 being possible with long tubes. but all that stuff adds up. good luck finding a cobra throttle cable lol. you priced DOHC cams? through the roof! i was gonna do a b head cobra build but decided against it and built my 2v motor, for a blower though.

if it were me i'd do the high compression 2v if you're gonna stay n/a or a light hit of nitrous.
