you can get a t56 with a steaper first gear or a short one. cobras have the long first gear but in the end a t56 with upgraded input shaft will out last and hold way more power than a 3650. it does shift like crap as well.

I needed a road map to find 3rd gear in mine. I finally installed a T handle shifter at a steep angle so I could match my push to the angle on the handle.

spec has a bit of a learning curve. my car is very hard for a person to drive when they're used to something else. i happen to like it, and you CAN slip it, just not like other types of clutches.

my advice is to try to get friends with mustangs to let you to drive their different clutches and see what you like. also factor in what you plan on doing with the car. if you're using a blower or nitrous, you'd want something rated higher than factory.
Is the spec 3 hard to press? I wish I had some buddys that have aftermarket clutches and parts, that is a great idea thou. And my car already had a blower plan on doing more just takes alittle time for the money and the work.lol

So do yall suggest the T56 or something else, I have no clue sorry to ask some many questions! I'm going for a fast street car, my buddy said T56 isn't worth getting unless I put some highway miles on my car.
