Probably want to upgrade to a tko 600, t56 with 26 spline input shaft, or a built 3650/t45.

Either that or have a few of those 3650's on hand for when you shear the input shaft.

I don't think the 26 spline input shaft is worth it on a 3650 trans. The trans its self has alot of problems. Upgrading the entire trans will save you money in the long run

Get a hold of Promotion Powertrain or Liberty's Gears. They can help you with upgraded input shafts for your trans.

Upgraded 3650trans is a band aid fix. I had one in my last car and it held the power but it wore the syncros out after putting it threw several hard passes. It stopped engaging 2nd at wot

So it sound like I would be better off saving for a tko? I want something that will hold up. I'm hope buy next fall to have a built motor in it

The tko 600 is a great trans that has been around for a long time. Some people complain about how it shifts but you get used to it. I honestly hate the way my t56 feels but over time I have gotten used to it.
