will these wheels fit? need input on em asap?

I have a 01 gt and a guy wants to trade me these for my cobra r"s. Weld pro stars
Front 15x3 1/2", 175/80/15 tires
Rear 15x10 6.5" spacing, 275/60/15 tires
Now he said they were on a 97 gt and he has and ran 1/4" spacers on front. Now will these fit with everything I listed on my 01 gt and what about the spacers a lot say no to spacers is it that bad pros n cons of it? I really want these if it all fits and I wanna know how to make em work with spacers or whatever I need to do?

Your going to need to run spacers on the fronts, or grind your brake caliper (which isnt recommended) And your going to want longer wheel studs for the front and backs, especially in the front.

If you are going to use spacers in the front MAKE SURE they are hub-centric. That way the spacer is centered on the hub. If you use the cheap spacer it is difficult to make sure they are centered and then you lugs are trqed down evenly.

I do not think that they make that small of a spacer in Hub-centric so its use at your own risk.

I run these,

Just Mr. Gasket ones from jegs.
People say there shit, they work and get the job done. I just always make sure when im torquing them down that its centered and not to one side or the other. And im only running my prostars when im going down a track.

I run that set up - I use the 1" hubcentric spacer up front. Trimmed the non threaded tips of the OEM studs for now so they fit subflush with the back of the wheel on the other side of the spacer. Will switch to 3.5" ARP studs later and punch out the studs in the spacer.

No grinding needed on the calipers.

I run the 3.5" ARPs in the rear to be track legal - you can get away with OEM studs for street use.
