i checked craigslist within 600 miles on Mi and it would appear no 03/04 hoods are for sale in the region... and the one on AM plus shipping is still not worth it to me. ive seen them go for under 400 shipped on ebay before i needed one and now that i actually NEED one i cant find one..

Any pictures of it? The reviews I hear for ABCexclusive are either very good or very bad, no in-between. I was personally thinking of geting one from there.

Yeah but they're like $680 or something like that. You do get what you pay for though I hear, I haven't heard one complaint about them.

I also had a place called "Octane Motorsports" bookmarked that had the hood for like $300 plus shipping.

As soon as I paint it I will put up pics. I bought it for the wife's convertible termi swap. I put it on her car and did a fitment test and it was great. Only minor issue I had was some of the "gel coat" looks like it will need to be sanded smooth. Other than that its great.

I have the actual cobra front bumper and I heard these are designed for the aftermarket bumper so would that make a difference?

I think it would, but it's not like you can't fix it. After all how many people are running around with the Cobra bumper and GT hood? You just might need to adjust the fitment, maybe put some spacers under the horns.

Also I'd be leery of ebay fiberglass hoods. You often get what you pay for, and that's a third rate reproduction with low quality materials.

right on, well between those two listed it looks like the octane one is cheaper because it includes the vent grills and the abc ones are sold separate

$680 and probably worth it if you want a good fitment that you only have to paint once with minimal prep work.

If you can wait it out, see if Octane Motorsports will have a booth setup at an event in the early spring/summer. When it comes to those types of panels, I need to feel it/see it with my own hands so you can see how even the molding is, etc.
