which way to go about my engine
well im gonna buy a shortblock soon
im wondering what you guys think i should do order one from mmr or just build one? i want to have fun n/a and spray a 125 shot keep the 2v so no go with a 4v stuff

If you have the tools and the 'know how' then just build one yourself. BUT mmr does have some amazing motors for a great price and they come with a warranty, I will be purchasing a short block from them in the future.

i see deals on corral for shortblocks
but idk if im confident to buy them from over there i may end up buying one from mmr question is which one woulld fit my goals best

Id say look into the 5.1L stroker motor they have. Then slap a big shot of nitrous on it.

Maybe it's the Boss block with the 4.75L stroker crank, slightly smaller than the 3.750" crank. That'd be a neat combination.

Lol, I've been trying to figure out MMR for a while. For the most part their big bore 5.3 stroker is advertised as 324-325 cubes, when it's 322-323, and the stock bore/3.750" stroker is I believe advertised as a 5.0, even though it's slightly less than 4.9.
But I'd settle for that, at least I know it's actually 297"/4.87 liters.

Hell nahhh. 11:1 compression would be ideal for a nitrous motor, and youd get everything you could out of it NA. I believe the guy that made like 395rwhp through his stroker motor (TFS heads, MHS cams etc....) was making 11.5:1 compression.
Idk what the max compression you can run for pump 93. Id say about 11.5-12:1 but not 100% sure. Compression alone will make good horsepower
