Which block to buy

Should I buy a Teksid block or a Ford Racing block for a build?

Just doing a rebuild to beef everything up. If it can hold that much I'm better off instead of buying one for over $1000.00

You wont break a teksid, and Ill put a dollar to your dime you wont make the power to even begin to stress the stock block you have now

Yeah, them Romeos are tough. I want to pick up a Teksid for the weight savings mainly. Just a small bit of stuff you have to do to run 2V heads on a Teksid. Need to drill a coolant passage in the upper left (Passenger side cylinder bank) of the block, can use a head gasket to show you were. Then a 94-95 2V timing cover, and tensioner arms from an aluminum block 2V Explorer.

I need more money.

Wait a minute, what's wrong with your current block?

the weight is a plus, but if you are worried about strength theres nothing to worry about with your block
