you guys say what you want, but running down the track with that kind of power is not driving strait anymore. holding down 600 hp and getting it to the ground threw a manual needs slicks. slicks make a lot of sway so every time you shift gears you tend to add a little sway that sometimes makes the car shift more than you would think

to each their own on the auto vs manual topic. some people enjoy running high hp manuals, but those people usualy do it that way for fun factor rather than fast et's. honestly u just gotta try it and see if you like it or not. i enjoy banging gears as much as the next guy who likes driving stick but im leaving a ton on the table doing so. at lower hp levels a manual can be faster but in the long run a proper setup auto will net far better et's
