4.6L in car head/cam swap

I'm sure there is some information on doing a head/cam swap in car, but i can't seem to find any. If any one knows a of a good thread i'm interested. If not, i want to put some high flow heads on my 2v 4.6L and a new cam. Does anyone know if i can do this with the engine still in the car?

I found an article in the fed 2012 issue of muscle mustangs and fast fords, but the yonly explain the cam swap not the head swap.

thought?

i don't see why you couldn't do a head swap with bolts....studs may be another story...Tryin to clear the head over the studs would put you well in to the shock towers I would think? Unless you laid the dead down and then ran the studs through....that might work?

There's a few threads on cam swaps in car. I can't recall what it was called but they used dowel rods and had a few tips in there.

You could probably loosen the motor mounts and tilt the engine a little bit to each side to do it one at a time if there is an issue with clearance.
