I have an 2002 GT with 18X10 rims on the back and I lowered it with H&R springs from American muscle. It gave me the look I wanted, it's not extremely low and its now that 4x4 stance anymore either. Give me a second and I'll upload a picture for you.

You'll be just fine... You'll have a little gap, but enough, no worries

Here's my GT with h&r's with 18x10's in the back

Yea.. you will be just fine. I have 18x9 and 18x10 with 275/30 in front and 285/35 in back lowered on h&r sports. Lowered in 2" in front and bout 1.6" in back. Looks real good.

I am also not using any CC plates despite what some people said and my alignment is perfect. Just incase you were wondering about that aswell.
