HOLY SHIT. I mean i know there damn good products. BUT JESUS. How much am i going to spend piecing one together. Or can someone tell me if their is a thread already for this. How do the vortech satin tuner kits compare on American Muscle. Just looking for everyones .2 cents worth

You can piece together a vortech kit for around $2500. Unless you are stuck on the Kenne Bell thing. If i was you i would just go with a on3 turbo kit and buy a short block from mmr and just roll out.

For $5900 you can have a brand new 2.8H, which is what I did.

For the mmr shortblock comment. No thanks. I like were my builds going right now. And I was going to look at pieceing one together to. Still not sure on what I want for one yet. I was just looking at prices and seen that price for a non polished one on kenne bells website. Cant believe that. Will be adding my choice of supercharger amd spray at the same time though

Fuck Kenne Bell. Their shit is over priced and in my experience no where near as reliable as a vortech. I dont see many KBs going for 100k miles but its very common with a vortech or procharger... Not to mention the rebuild price is much cheaper and you can do it yourself.... GO centri

Take the 6car grand and sell your car and buy a Termi. Unless you piece together a centri. I don't think those roots style blowers are worth the extra money.

Is your shortblock forged? Cause if not and you supercharged and sprayed it you will probably leave some much needed pistons and rods on the ground. Unless you go with like 5 psi and a 50 shot. But still, why spend the money on both when either one can get you enough power to make your motor go boom.... That is of course if your shortblock is not forged.

Im not going to sell the car for a termi. its MY car. I hear enough shit about termis all the time if I would have wanted one I would have got one. I wanted a car to be customized to me. Just saying, not trying to sound bitchy. Plus the price of some are absurd. And its an 01 cobra motor so that means aluminum block. Not forged. Spray still going to be to much? Dont know if id ever even use it. But the thought of elenoar outrunning a helicopter makes me want it

Yes, a non forged short block with a supercharger plus spray will end badly for the shitty rods and pistons. The short falling on any modular motor (other than 03-04 cobras) is there rods and pistons. Throw a centri or turbo on it and enjoy it. Just my opinion.

you can find them used for close to 4 grand all day or you can get a brand new vortech kit complete for about a grand or so less than that. Blower Cost???$$$
