MIL eliminators.

I know they eliminate the cel when ur running o/r x but what if im having troubles with thr egr? Does it eliminate it as well or thats a different area?

MIL Eliminators shouldn't have any effect on the EGR system, what check engine code are you throwing?

Im pretty sure itS p0401. Insuffiecent egr flow or something similar to that. Ive cleaned it and tested it and its not clogged so I dont want to buy a egr valve and SEE if it fixes it. Want to make sure first.

This may not be the case, but try tightening down your fuel cap. Also smell the passenger side near the gas tank and make sure that rubber grommet that connects the refueling hose to the gas tank isn't worn out and leaking.

I will sure check. If I knew where the rubber grommet was.. is it inside near the back seat orin the trunk?

The fuel filler grommet is outside, fuel tank right hand side, where the fuel filler hose enters the fuel tank. Typically if it's worn out, you'll be able to smell gasoline just by standing in that area.

MIL eliminators are a waste of money. Just turn the 02s of in the tune. Most hand helds can do it, any dyno tuner can do it. Turn the fucking EGR off while your at it lol. I shut all that shit off inside the tunes I write then retune them for smog.... on a side note the EGR is only open at part throttle cruising. People think that by removing it they will get more HP but you dont because it closes at WOT anyway... I just dont like having them on.

Cant get hold of anyone with a tuner arounf where I live and actually know so thats why I wanted to get mil elimators so I can drive with no lights on my dash.

Buy an SCT hand held. You can turn all of that off with the hand held. You will need it or some sort of hand held when you get dyno tuned one day. Sniper also works really well... I prefer over SCT actually.

I have a x3 sct. How do I turn rear o2 off? Or does it have that option?

New versions of SCT and Diablosport do not have options to turn off the rear O2 sensor check due to legal reasons. You'll have to either revert to an earlier software revision (not recommended), get a custom tune to turn them off, buy the professional tuning package, or install MIL Eliminators.

Make MILs or buy them. They are much better than turning the o2s off if you have to pass emissions every year.

Get these to turn off rear O2's. I've got them.
O2 Simulator - CEL / MIL Fix - O2 Sensor Simulator - Oxygen Sensor Spacer - 02 Simulator

This is the infamous grommet that fails. I didn't know it threw that EGR code tho. I've heard it shows the "check gas cap" light
