upi should make me a shifter ball about the size of a pool ball, and make it work with steeda shiter and engrave 1-2-3-4-5-r in it and ill give ya some $$$$ lol. that would be sweet

yea, but i was thinking more along the lines of sub frame con. or something. haha, but shift knobs work well also. the only things, is that aluminium is light, so i dont know if tha'd affect anything

im allright with it being light weight. doesnt bother me too bad. itll be for looks only., when its time to race, i can throw on another shifter

becasue its small and seems easy to us who know nothing about cnc machining. anyways if you plan on making some, that would be sweet, i d probably buy one form ya if the quality was good

its computer controlled milling. you give it an autocad drawing, and it mills it for you from wood, metal, anything

or how about an aluminum overlay for the clock on top of my 97 model dash, or aluminum overlay bezel to outline the stock gauges in the cluster?

I work at a machine shop, was bored the other day and made myself an aluminum shifter knob on the cnc lathe. Its a 2" round ball with a 1/2" post at the bottom, drilled and tapped to fit flush with the shift boot. Polished to brushed aluminum... looks really clean... and it was free so no complaints.
