Yk6 upgrade kit for 3650? Anyone???

So as my trans problems continue I'm about to rebuild my trans.... Again! Anyone ever use the yk6 upgrade kit? Is it worth getting? At this point I don't know what to do. This seems to be my cheapest route but if i feel like this wont be the last time I fight with the 3650. I can't afford a t56, and the auto swap comes close to the cost of a t56 swap if it's done well. so this seems to be my only option. Has anyone ever used it? Any thoughts on what else I can do for $700?

What exactly are the problems you're having? You have basic mods according to your sig so I don't see why it would be crapping out on you?

It should be fine...unless you just abuse the crap out of it.

Well it started with syncros for 3rd so I had my trans rebuilt at 103k. at 104k the shift fork disconnected inside the trans and I lost 3rd and 4th completely. So it was serviced at that company for free. Then I deployed for 6 monthes and the car went in storage. Then Around 1 month ago and 1 month after my warrenty expired my car is grinding 2nd. I can double clutch and get into 2nd but if I just try and shift it grinds everytime. Basicly FML!

I know you said you're strapped for cash but if it's just a small grind just deal with it and save for something better. No reason to spend almost a grand on a shitty trans when you could save another grand or so and get a tko or t56.

Also I had mine rebuilt as well and second is always choppy when the car is cold even with a pro 5.0 shifter. These trans just suck as and they are all loud as hell and choppy. Trust me I can't wait to get a t56 in mine, you're better off dealing with it and saving dude.

It's not a small grind it's pretty bad. And it's pretty hard to drive without 2nd in my car I have traction issues real bad at this point. I need to invest in some bigger rims and tires but they don't do me much good without a trans.

Just skip shift, run a little higher rpms in first and go right to third.

And thanks for your service.
