Strange problem help Plz

2002 mustang gt magnaflow x pipe exause superchip

My problems all began when my intake broke my heater hose off water went where obviously.
I changed my intake and all my coil boots car ran great now I have a roandom loss of power. It can be running fine then die out and it idles crazy revving Fromm 500 to 1000 rpm constantly it smells the fuel bad and runs horrible back fireing even....I turned the car off then back on imediately it ran perfect it has done this twice any help Plz .

Hmm smells like fuel, back firing... Check spark plugs, and this might sound stupid but make sure the cops are on the correct cylinders lol. Random loss of power could be a bad ground as well.

this sounds like a big problem could be vacuum leak or bad sensor what kind of "chip" are u running i would check all your electrical connections and make sure everything is plugged in maybe u missed something when u installed the intake your cops may be wet and shorting out is the fuel bad smell from the motor

Ok. I changed the plugs already and tested all coils. All of the connections are correct. The fuel smell seems to be coming from the motor.
