Fox Lake P-51 Intake?

Anyone on here using this? Saw it online and was wondering if anyone had and positive or negative feedback on it.

Good for high rev applications, but other than that stick to the stocker.

I've never heard of that. I just read their entire "about us" section in two minutes. That doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. That and the fact that they only have one picture and no description of the intake. Keep checking, maybe someone who has used it will chime in.

The p51 intake was one of the first good aftermarket untamed to come out for the 2v. Honestly, I used to think it looked good, now I realised it looks like shit. Looks like something i could make in sheet metal class lol. Painted they look alittle better.

Like mello said, stick with sticker. Unless your spraying or throwing 15+ psi at the car.

The edelbrock intake imo has been the most impressive. Guy over on corral through a stalled auto went from 385rwhp to 440rwhp just with that intake and 6061 elbow.

Really? Did he up his redline? Those numbers seem a bit ridiculous IMO.

I'm pretty sure Doug Van Den Brink uses one on his drift mustang.

Right? He said it made power all the way to 6500 and kept going up, but he shifts at 6300 to keep it "safe" he also ran 11.35 @ 121mph before that intake.

The P51 has been around for a fair while. They claim it to be the only aftermarket Modular intake that does NOT give up HP or Tq to the stock PI manifold at low RPM.
I remember seeing an article on a dyno test that confirmed their claims. Here's a link to one such test:

how can you be sure this was an honest result? what if it had a stock tune with the stock manifold and a race tune with the fox lake mani? that im sure would yield a 0 loss in low end power due to better timing and airfuel.

You can't. Like I said, they "claim" it does not sacrifice any low end. It would be nice to think that someone like Modular Depot would conduct a fair comparison, or at least state that they added a tune with the new intake. They were pretty adimate about the fact that the test car was 100% stock and "not a ringer to give inflated numbers". Still, no way to be sure....
