Deal or no deal?

So I came across a 04 mach 1 longblock from a 5 speed with 80,000 miles on it BUT it has a bent rod and the piston skirts is crack .he was running a vortech on it What would u pay fir this? If so what else would I need to complete the 4v swap.?

I wouldn't pay much without seeing the engine torn down to determine actual repair costs...

As long as all the sensors and everything are there you will need a 4-valve wiring harness. Then 4-valve headers & mid-pipe.

But I agree with the above need to know what all is damaged. Also depends on price.

Its at a shop now.asking price us 240 obo .im still debating on building the gt up or going with a termi by next year if all goes well.

Eh, I would gamble on it. IF nothing else you can part it and get your money back. IMO there is about $800-$1000 worth of part out there even with the bottom-end screwed up.

You don't need a 4v wiring harness. Just swap the polarity on your cops.

I would say $240 is a good deal as long as the valves aren't bent. 4v flow like a mofo

Yea I ll past hopefully I ll be in the market soon for a zinc yellow or screaming yellow mustang.

go for it. everything's a learning experience.
and i think you can do it without a 4v wiring harness is what 6erthen8er says
