SPEAKER WHINE

I've had this problem ever since I've gotten my 04 gt, it has the mach 460 in it. It sounds like I'm getting feedback through the speakers from the engine or something. I've replaced the amps, I've replaced the whole speaker unit in the trunk, have not replaced the head unit next, that seems to be the next thing. All the grounds that I know of are intact. The car was smashed prior to me buying it but it only had minor side damage, nothing on the engine was touched so everything under the hood should also be fine... I'm completely stumped. I'll put it this way... even if I don't turn the car on but just turn it to listen to music, as I change songs and or cd's theres a little noise the speakers make when the cd player does something. Anyone got any suggestions?

Are the gorund staraps under the hood in place? Like from the hood to the body, or engine to body?

Sometimes I lay my cell phone on the shifter boot and the car will make a whining noise in the speakers. If you have any aftermarket electronic devises in the car this my be the cause.

You need to get this:

Power line noise filter

And if you have an aftermarket headunit this as well...

Ground Loop Isolator

That will fix ya right up...

when installing one of those do you just splice in to the power, remote and ground wire for the factory head unit and call it a day? or is there more to it then that.
