Clutch Pedal was vibrating like crazy

After I got my clutch replaced the pedal vibrated a bit and slowly got worse. Yesterday it got significantly worse and then locked me out of shifting all together. I replaced the clutch cable thinking maybe the other was streched but no luck... Got the adjustable kit with the quadrant but don't want to keep adding things to the issue if tis not going to fix it... What could this be? I was reading about throw out bearings but would they really go bad with only 100 miles on it?

Thank you in advance!

It could be the bearing, but it sounds exactly like what it would if the cable was stretched like you said. Did you use a ford OEM bearing? a ford cable? I used aftermarket nd both failed within 3 months... if you have the adjuster installed tighten it down a few turns and see if the pedal stops shacking... if you overtighten (like I did, not knowing any better the second time around) the bearing will deff go bad!

^^^ What he said. When adjusted properly, there should be about a 1/4" of play at the top of the pedal.

I used the adjustable clutch kit off American muscle..
Mustang Clutch Adjuster Kit (96-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

I didnt however install the quadrant or the adjuster yet. Just bolted the new cable in.

Its not even letting me get into gear now and the pedal feels like it still has friction on it.

It just clicks when I compress the pedal to the floor.

Is your clutch fork installed onto the ball all the way?

sound like it just needs adjusted (tightened) or something came apart like nick asked^

Did a good shop put everything in? Id just give them a call nd make them fix it if it was all done that short of time ago... if its undriveable then NVM dont try rev matching to get it there if its far away! yould end up needing a new started and clutch ask me how i kno 0_0

No offense, but I don't understand why anyone would buy that instead of spending $20 more for one of the name brand sets (MM, Steeda).

That being said, get in there and finish installing that kit, then get everything adjusted properly. You've got the parts to fix the issue, you just need to go do it.

The quadrant and adjuster are steeda. doing the install later tonight. at aamco right now to get bent over real quick. the adjustment can be that far off where it won't allow me to get in gear?

If the plastic clutch quadrant wasn't reset and the adjustable cable wasn't set right, I can see that creating enough slack that pushing the pedal wouldn't disengage the clutch.
