Just bought some goodies

So I just purchased the chrome moly UPR K member kit with coil over conversion, bump steer kit, camber caster plates, and a 31 spline center section. Lots more to follow tomorrow. Thanks uncle sam for raping me in taxes throughout the year so I could get a big return to make my ride more fun... But still... Fuck you uncle sam, you crooked bastard.

Before anyone bashes me for that, I'm a vet too.

Edit: updated list on post #19

Sweet deal man. I'm waiting on mine as well to get my rear suspension more stout.

Nice, you'll have to let me know how tough it is putting that k-member in is, and how much more it opens up under the engine. I definitely see one in my near future.

Same here, was looking at that kit to reduce some weight in the front. Let me know how good it is being a DD. Some were skeptical about sticking that k member on a DD so your input would be appreciated.

What did the kit run you?

I'm more interested in the clearance and access it gives you. Getting at anything on the bottom side of the motor is a giant pain in the dick with the stock one, not to mention long tube clearance.

That was with springs a arms everything?

Maybe I added wrong? Mm said I need xxx parts for it to work and came out to ~2200.

I'd like to buy a k member when I get my headers in. But unsure of what all I actually need.

Hey your talking about two different kits.

MM= maximum motorsports

The kit the OP bought is Upr. Maximum has better ratings but upr's alot more affordable and produces pretty descent results from what i've read

Mm kits are made for koni, bilstein, or tockico struts. Upr can use stock or really just about anything. You will need a pair of billet steel cc plates, cuz of aluminum not having the ability to hold the weight put on the front. Also, 4bolt cc plates are a bit better just for the added adjustability.

No. Upr has a full kit (co's, a arms included). Only 2 k members I have seen can use stock and that's Steeda, and I believe QA1 or AJE

I have this kit installed if you would like pics I can post some.

Nick, any questions call me and I'll help you through the install.

As far as space underneath...I installed my Mac longtubes with the k member in and had no clearance issues. I also bought the 3/8th "spacer" kit with the upgraded bolts. It drops the engine lower in the bay which helps with the Termi swap.
