Long Tubes For 2v GT

anyone run a good long tube? im pulling the motor and want to put long tubes on it while its out. Im supercharged if that helps and just want more flow. i have the stock manifolds right now.

True but if the performance gain isn't enough the sound change is well worth it, its not just peak power you gain from Longtubes, its the gain through the whole powerband

Also if you want access to your tranny without having to remove the header is a consideration as well. ARH makes headers that you'll be able to pull your tranny with them still installed.

I have macs and I love them. My buddy has some pacesetters that sound pretty nice

I've heard bbk and pypes don't allow the tranny to be dropped, without removing the passenger side header.

F8L GT said he can easily drop is tranny with the flow tech longtubes.

If you have the cash, go with kooks

I have flowtechs and love them ! I got mine off of jegs for a great price! Do the LT's! They add power under the curve not just the peak number!

Flowtech or mac...both allow for the tranny to be dropped I hear which is a huge plus IMHO

mac does not allow the trans to be dropped without loosening one header. i remember sweet2kstang said he had to loosen the passenger side and i have the macs and would be VERY VERY surprised if i could get the trans down between them...it would take some serious tilting and turning and what not. its TIGHT.
