Once your making some serious boost 15 plus your not really going to care its instantly insane the second you press the gas espacially at 21 PSI on a centri.

I have no plans for going anything above what a stock bottom end can hold. Once my current Mustang has what I want for street, I'll buy a Fox Body for my toy. That's my long term goal anyway. I love fox stangs for some reason. They make some serious drag monsters.

Vortech? I write ProCharger all over the data and you pick a Vortech. Vortech makes a good product. Be sure to get it with an intercooler.

Haha, yeah ProChargers are nice, but more spendy overall. I was wanting to keep it below $4,000 for parts and spend the extra on a dyno tune.

Lol wow I never said that great job misinterpreting everything I said. Not putting an intercooler on your car is cutting corners. That's what I was saying.

what you asked for in your orig post, a twin screw delivers. get the intercooled kit and as for a forged engine..always a good idea but not always needed.
far as these centri guys comparing lowend torque, can't beat a pd blower, just look at stahl's dyno torque curve. you want FUN on the street without redlining your motor to get it, like the slam you in seat feel(not a push getting gradually firmer), the ability if you WANT to light tires at a whim. get a KB. if 1/4 mile is your thing or freeway rolls then centri may fit the bill, but if that is really is what you want, don't waste your time with a centri and get a turbo

What is your budget for this power adder? That could also be a determining factor!

Your not going to get massive torque unless you step up the game and raise the boost above stock levels which will require a forged short block.

lol I have a Vortech but lets be serious here, you don't really start making power until above 3k. He asked for a fun street car. A KB car is just that. He doesn't have a built motor, so a 15psi+ centri is wayyy out of the question.

Turbo>PD>Centri. No belts with a turbo=free power. Turbo and PD come on about the same with a quality turbo designed to spool (granted a PD will be a bit quicker, but you're still taking power to make power).

no we were just answering his question on a FUN street car. and it is the centri guys that jump in pd threads with their panties in a bunch, not the other way around. just need to read the threads

Yea I feel ya. In that one thread it seemed like you got personally pissed. But yea for a street car what he is looking for a Pd blower would be his best bet.
