They are pressed onto the axle shafts and then bolted to the end of the axle tubes where the backing plates bolt up....I haven't done any on a new edge but the ones I've done (ford and chevy) u have to cut a certain amount off the ends of the axle tubes. The c clip eliminator is your new axle bearing/seal

Its not that much....maybe about 3/8 of an inch...but once u do it u can't go back...the reason u cut some off is to clear the c clip eliminator so it can sit flush

you have to have someone put it on a jig and cut the ends off, to make sure it sits even. You also have to take the plate that holds the caliper to the axle end to a machinist who will have to shave it flat by 1/8". Its a lot of work and your ABS will have to be deleted since you are cutting the ABS ring off the rear end.

The c clip eliminators are thick that's why they wont fit over the ends...but honestly what is your reasoning for buying them....at your power level I don't think its necessary unless u are dead hooking at the track and dumping the crap out of it....if anything just upgrade to 31 spline axles and posi unit

I think if you want to run in the 10s you need the c-clip eliminators, no?

I'd like to get rid of the ABS and the traction control all together.

I got rid of my abs a long time ago so I wouldn't need the abs ring anyways, so far I think I can make my brakes work, I forgot my axle seal/bearing puller at work so ill hold off on the rest until tomorrow
