I have a 1999 Cobra 4.6L 32V and i wanted to bolt-on ATI procharger/supercharger ()im kinda new and dont really know the difference yet ) but ya i was just curious about what the HP rating capability was on that stock bottom end i plan to cam it and get heads at a later date but for right now just wanted to cover the basics

Thanks Much

You don't want to go over 450 rwhp. If you plan on heads and cams along with your s/c, you'll want to get the internals forged first. A s/c with heads and cams will almost deff. put you over 500rwhp... depending on what you make for boost.

i think the crank should be forged already. but you still have the powdered rods and the hyper. pistons which are the weak spots. i wouldnt push it past 450 unless you just want to see what it takes to blow it.

Any forged pistons you get won't be aluminum. Same thing with the rods. Contact a local builder and let them know what you are trying to do with the car and they'll know exactly what you need.

hehe procharger is just a brand name like vortech or paxton, they are all centrifugal superchargers. AKA blowers
