Stange smell
I have an 02 mustang gt auto with 200000 miles on it. The engine still runs strong doesnt feel sluggishat all . I do wot every once in a while when little ricers that keep taunting me and I always pull ahead but I Havent done wot in a while and when I do accerate in N or floor it not all the way though I smell something wierd afterwards. From my drivers window when its open. What could.it be? and ive checked my exhaust pipe and Kinda get that smell of unburnt gas.

And ive replace a cop in cylinder #1. It was used but still did the job. pulled a code but it was for.thw egr and o2 sensors. Could it be that smell. Rather be that than anything from the engine

I do have valve cover leaking and my main seal is leaking just a bit. Not alot.

check the egr valve and the egr sensor,probably causing the fuel smell, and tripping youre 02 sensor , also check your pcv valve it could be causing the oil leaks.

Egr valve is bad.going to replace and trans is leaking. Pulling the engine and trans during.spring break. And replacing. Gaskets all around
