You can heat them up and twist them out.
Edit- do you mean the bolts that connect to mid pipe or hold manifold to motor?

Oh, I'm unsure then. Hopefully others will chime in.

I'm not sure what you mean... there's a lack of detailed info in this thread.

I'd do everything possible to avoid pulling the whole motor out. Drop the K-member and see what you can accomplish that way. It's gonna suck. But so will pulling the engine.

Why do you want to replace the manifold studs? Unleash your doing headers and you'll have to drop the k member anyways.

As for the studs that connect the manifold to the mid pipe, can use a stud extractor. Should heat it up so the manfold expands alittle to avoid breaking the stud and having to drilling the stud out.

It sounds to me like he has a couple studs broken that bolt his exhaust manifolds to the motor. So he is asking which would be easier to get to them so he can replace the broken studs.

Word...
If it was me, I'd drop the K-member and see what I could do. But since we're going off what is basically no information whatsoever... who knows how bad the situation is.

Drop the K and you'll have access to them.
